Terms and conditions of hire
- All bookings are provisional until confirmed by us by email or phone and either a deposit or full payment is received.
- A non-returnable deposit of 25 per cent of the total rent is payable on bookings made more than 4 weeks ahead of booking date, plus non-returnable membership(s) of the Greener Camping Club. The balance is due four weeks before the first day of your holiday. Bookings made less than four weeks ahead of booking date must be paid for in full.
- Deposits are non-refundable in any event.
- Payments can be made by bank transfer, PayPal or cheques. Cheques should be made payable to “Lucie Parkes”.
- In the event of cancellation, please inform us and get a confirmation of cancellation email. If you have paid in full and we can fill the booking we will refund 75% of the total cost (excluding membership(s) of the Greener Camping Club. If we cannot fill the booking, 100% of the total booking fee is payable.
- Shepherd’s Hut, Pod and Tent accommodation is available from 4pm on the day of arrival. If you are arriving after 10pm. please ring in advance. We ask that guests vacate Shepherd’s Hut by 10am on departure day.
- Guests are fully responsible for the Shepherd’s Hut, Pod, Tent, Bathroom Hut and Camp Kitchen and are liable for any loss or damage.
- Cars, their contents, luggage and personal belongings are left at the owner’s risk.
- Electricity is included in your rental. Logs for the wood burning stoves are provided.
- We have a no-smoking policy in Shepherd’s Hut. You are welcome to smoke outside.
- Pets of any sort are not allowed at Shepherd’s Hut
- We reserve the right to access the Shepherd’s Hut, Pod and Tent for maintenance purposes.
